Kris Allen’s New Single!

American Idol winner Kris Allen debuted his new single, Live Like We’re Dying, on the Elvis Duran Morning Show. The song is actually a cover of a track by Irish pop rockers the Script. Listen to the full Kris Allen interview on ElvisDuran.com.

Listen to his new single below! It’s good to hear new music by Kris post No Boundaries. I think it is a good sound for Kris. What do you think?

“New Moon” tickets, sold out already?

The theatrical premiere for the highly anticipated follow-up to “Twilight” is two months away, so is it true that “New Moon” tickets have been selling out already? It is true in some places. Although the majority of the shows that are sold out are the midnight showings. If you are still scratching your head on this one, I would say investigate for yourself. When I first heard this news, I wondered to myself “seriously…how can that be”? So I actually went onto Fandango.com and Movietickets.com and performed a search in my area and sure enough, it was quite true. Now I wouldn’t fret too much because this article is stating only “some” places are sold out not all theaters. Besides there are plenty of movie times to go to after the midnight showings. Some may want to be the first to see the movie (which is perfectly fine), but for me…”I’ll see it when I see it.”

2009 Emmy Winners/Recap

The 61st annual Emmy Awards were held on September 20, 2009, hosted by Neil Patrick Harris (“How I Met Your Mother”). The night in general had some few surprises but the highlight of the Emmy’s was Neil Patrick Harris reprising his role as Dr. Horrible in a skit promoting the Internet as the future of television. Also making an appearance in the video segment was Nathan Fillion as Captain Hammer. This segment was played during the explanation of how the Emmy ballots were tabulated by the representatives of Ernst & Young. Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog was originally co-written and directed by Joss Whedon (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer), which was exclusively distributed over the Internet.
