iPhone 4 sales are over 1.7 million and still counting

Who wouldn’t want a piece of Apple right now? After the launch of the iPhone 4 on June 24, 2010, through Saturday, June 26th the company has already sold 1.7 million devices. Despite reports of antenna issues, people are still flocking to get their hands on the new generation iPhone.

NPH back for next Harold and Kumar film

According to Entertainment Weekly, Neil Patrick Harris is confirmed to return for the next Harold and Kumar film which will be released next year. The next film in the franchise is titled “A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas”.

Let’s face it, the franchise would not be the same without a cameo from Neil Patrick Harris.

Here’s the first trailer for the next chapter of “The Chronicles of Narnia” films is titled “The Voyage of the Dawn Treader”. Ben Barnes (“Stardust”) returns not as Prince Caspian but King Caspian. ‘Glee’ takes on Coldplay

Are you ready to hear some Coldplay on Fox’s hit show “Glee”? Ready or not the band Coldplay has opened their song library to the show. Initially the band said ‘no’ when asked, but it appears they have changed their mind. Considering the popularity of the show, I think it would be quite ludicrous to not have your music showcased on the hit series not just for the exposure factor which is a plus, but in my opinion it is flattering just to be asked.

64th Annual Tony Award Winners

The 64th annual Tony Awards were held on June 13, 2010. Sean Hayes hosted the venue and was quite a performer opening the show with a piano medley and accompanied some of the nominated show’s cast while they performed a song from their respective shows. A lot of first time nominees won their respective categories and the Hollywood stars swept most of the Tony Awards. Scarlett Johannson, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Denzel Washington won their categories but the top honors went to “Memphis” for winning Best Musical and “Red” for winning Best Play.

One of the highlights of the awards ceremony were performances by Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison from “Glee”. Matthew Morrison performed All I Need Is The Girl from “Gypsy”. Lea Michele performed Don’t Rain On My Parade from “Funny Girl”. Morrison and Michele are no strangers to the stage as both were nominated for Tony’s before. Lea Michele for “Spring Awakening” and Matthew Morrison for a fantastic performance in “The Light in the Piazza”.
