Matthew Morrison stars as Will Schuester, an optimistic teacher who volunteers to take over the Glee club in the hope of reliving his glory days with the help of another supportive teacher, Emma Pillsbury, played by Jayma Mays (“Heroes”, “Ugly Betty”) in the effort of trying to make the school’s Glee club great again. Matthew Morrison has starred in the Broadway productions of “Hairspray” (as Link Larkin) and was nominated for a Tony Award for his performance in “The Light in the Piazza” (as Fabrizio Naccarelli).
