Check out the full performance of “Forget You” by Cee Lo Green from “Glee” featuring Academy Award Winner Gwyneth Paltrow (“Shakespeare in Love”). “Forget You” is from the episode “Substitute” which aired on November 16, 2010.
Could Gwyneth Paltrow be the next “Glee” guest star to receive an Emmy nomination?

The 61st annual Emmy Awards were held on September 20, 2009, hosted by Neil Patrick Harris (“How I Met Your Mother”). The night in general had some few surprises but the highlight of the Emmy’s was Neil Patrick Harris reprising his role as Dr. Horrible in a skit promoting the Internet as the future of television. Also making an appearance in the video segment was Nathan Fillion as Captain Hammer. This segment was played during the explanation of how the Emmy ballots were tabulated by the representatives of Ernst & Young. Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog was originally co-written and directed by Joss Whedon (“Buffy the Vampire Slayer), which was exclusively distributed over the Internet.

The 61st Primetime Emmy Awards will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2009. Neil Patrick Harris (“How I Met Your Mother”) will have hosting duties. In my opinion there were some surprise snubs. Notably missing from the nominees were America Ferrera (“Ugly Betty”), Katherine Heigl (“Grey’s Anatomy”), and Anna Paquin who won a Golden Globe for her performance in “True Blood” this year.
Kudos to “Chuck” for receiving one nomination for Outstanding Stunt Coordination for “Chuck versus The First Date” and an extra special thumbs up to “Legend of the Seeker” for receiving its first Emmy nomination for Outstanding Music Composition for a Series (Original Dramatic Score) for its series premiere: “Prophecy”. I also hope that this is the year that either Chandra Wilson or Sandra Oh will win an Emmy for their work on “Grey’s Anatomy”.
