This week the dancers performed one of the four new dances to this season which are the Lambada, Charleston, Bolero, and the Country Two-Step. First was the encore performance and the judge’s choice was Melissa Joan Hart and Mark Ballas’s Charleston. Last week Melissa and Mark received a 19 for their Samba and this week they earned a judge’s score of 28 for their Charleston which is the highest comeback in “Dancing with the Stars” history as deemed by the show.
Shakira was tonight’s musical guest and she performed a song from her current album and her popular hit “Hips Don’t Lie” with special guest Wyclef Jean. In other news, Jake Pavelka was announced as the new Bachelor. Pavelka was part of “The Bachelorette” starring Jillian Harris. Six of the dance professionals on the show performed the two dances that will be on next week’s show. They couples will be performing either the Argentine Tango or the Paso Doble. The performers were Alec Mazo, Edyta Sliwinska, Cheryl Burke, Dmitry Chaplin, Louis Van Amstel, and Karina Smirnoff. Also all of the couples will be performing a group hustle.

All the women were declared safe! So one of the men were leaving the competition tonight.
