Alas, the Seeker’s journey has ended. According to Entertainment Weekly – Ausiello Files, the syndicated show (based on the novels by Terry Goodkind) has seen its last battle. Creators Sam Raimi and Robert Tapert tried to find a new home for the show, but sadly no one would bite.
I’m sad to see the show end, but I can’t say that I’m surprised by this news. This is Seeker’s second season and its been a lack luster year compared to its first season. It’s a shame that “Legend of the Seeker” could not get past their sophomore slump even though they had some big name guests such as Academy Award nominee Keisha Castle-Hughes (“Whale Rider”) and Jonathan Rhys-Davies (“The Lord of the Rings”).
Is there still hope that “Legend of the Seeker” may return for a 3rd season? Signs point to “no” as Bridget Regan, who plays Kahlan Amnell, announced on Twitter that she will be returning to the States.
